BGA Analysis and Inspection

Falknis X-ray Inspect segments each solder ball (shown in green). The user-friendly sliders in the top row are used for segmentation. Voids are detected similarly: Simply adjust the sliders to calibrate our novel, first-in-class void detection algorithm. Falknis then detects internal voids (marked in red) and quantifies void percentages to two decimal places. The software instantly identifies the defective ball with 11.81% void content. This exceeds the 10% acceptance threshold that was set by the user. You can export the results into reports for quality assurance during the production process. QFN Analysis and Inspection

Falknis X-ray Inspect automatically segments the entire QFN package. It detects
all perimeter leads and the critical die pad area (shown in green). The software
then identifies and quantifies voids within the soldering area (marked in red).
The total void content is calculated with pixel-based precision: 16.59% (68'590 void
pixels out of 413'481 total). Calibrate once using intuitive sliders, then
inspect thousands automatically. Making instant pass/fail decisions based on your acceptance criteria is easy!
